Big Apple Day Program is a Manhattan co-ed summer day program for children ages 7-18 with emotional, behavioral, developmental, and/or learning difficulties. We are an empirically-based, behaviorally-oriented program with highly-trained staff who integrate individualized goals with academic remediation, social skills training and recreational sports. We provide a fun, safe and therapeutic experience for children with ADHD, Asperger’s, High Functioning Autism, PDD-NOS, Behavior Problems, Anxiety, Learning Disability, Non-Verbal Learning Disability, and other social-emotional difficulties.

The camp currently has few openings for summer 2012, and several 50% tuition scholarships for families in need are available.

You can find classes and programs for children of all ages and adults with wonderful learning opportunities and social interactions. For the child that likes to move there is soccer,swimming, gymnastics and karate. There is also music therapy, story pirates, drop-in art classes and even a tween and teen lounge. For the grown-ups there are a wide variety of support groups, lectures, and even a resource library.

Harbor Haven is a seven week co-ed summer program for 3-15 year olds with mild to moderate special needs. It is located on a private school setting in West Orange, NJ. The program is dedicated to the concept that all children benefit from the magic of summer activities. They combine the most important elements of traditional summer activities with structured support, helping children to maintain and expand social, educational and communication skills.
